Metro's Rolling Aluminum Counter Shutters are miniature rolling doors designed for applications requiring a trim and aesthetically pleasing look. Our counter shutters will enhance any interior design, and are used extensively in all types of retail service counters, ticket windows, kiosks, and concession areas.

Specifications:

Curtain: Clear anodized extruded aluminum interlocking slats of 6063 alloy, 1-1/2" width, 1/2" depth, and .050" thickness.
Bottom Bar: clear anodized aluminum extruded member.
Hood: Constructed of .040" thick clear anodized aluminum.
Guides: Clear anodized extruded aluminum of 6063 alloy, 2"x2" with wool pile inserts to eliminate metal-to-metal contact.

Operation: Manual push-up operation for units up to 12'0" wide. Crank operation for shutters over 12'0" wide. Crank shall have a removable arm. Motor operation available on request (see options).
Counterbalance Assembly: Helical torsion spring 25% safety factor, mounted on a continuous torsion rod, and housed in a steel pipe shaft. Shaft to rotate in sealed ball bearings, supported by steel brackets.
Bracket Plates: 1/8" minimum thickness.

Options:

Motor Operation: Integral assemblies - with UL approved NEMA rated electrical components - consisting of high torque motor, braking system, self-locking gearing, electrical safety interlock, internal reversing magnetic controller, and internal pre-wiring. Wires and wiring are excluded.
Locking: Mortise type lock provided on bottom bar.
